Unfortunately, being stuck in the USA means I cannot access the interesting Chinese EV models coming out. If I have a great distaste for all things Elon, what is there left that is even worth considering? Kona?

I know it's not an BEV but I just purchased a Prius Prime and it's a really good fit for my personal situation.

I work in vehicle testing as well and have gotten to drive some things. Lucids are fun if you can afford them. They're a little janky but that's pretty typical for startups. There's also the BEV3 platform vehicles (BlazerEV/Lyric/Prologue/ZDX). I don't personally have experience with those vehicles but I have heard good things from colleagues who had.
