So that picture may be me it is too blurry to tell for sure and all of our deployment pictures are on a hard drive that I haven't looked at in years but If it was my platoon then I can give some background info. This is from a 2004-2005 deployment to Mosul Iraq from 1st Battalion 24th Infantry Regiment (Deuce Four) part of 1st Stryker Brigade 25th Infantry Division (Lancers). If it is me we had these reporters attached to our platoon for the day and we were clearing all of these little mechanic shops looking for weapons and IED making materials...... and we didn't find shit in any of them. Also if it was me that door didn't budge at all it, I must have kicked that thing like 20 times and it would just weeble and wobble but not fall down. The reporters had a guy with a video camera and also a photojournalist with them and they were taking a ton of recorded video and pictures throughout the day. It has been almost twenty years since that deployment and I still remember being really embarrassed that I could not kick down that door and that that failure of me not kicking down that door was going to be documented for eternity. I don't know if the caption is real underneath or someone made a meme from it but if it was a real caption that would be the funniest shit ever. I sure hope it is a real caption. Just thought I would share.
But did you sell any cookies?
99% sure that's from like, an absolutely ancient "news" meme template.
I remember laughing at this when memes were new and just getting started.
No way that's crazy (I didn't read any of that)
