Gen Z cant vote for someone they want, so they're left voting against someone else instead.
I don't know why you're all celebrating this, it is horrible for democracy and will only lead to further disenfranchising if a generation of new voters arent being represented.
so will they be represented before Trump wins the election or after the concentration camps?
you're not going to change my mind on this, I already voted for Harris. I just want to see that dim little light in your head get really bright before it pops when you fully realize that your "3rd party votes can change the world" lies don't work anymore.
in a perfect democracy, your vote for a 3rd party candidate might make a difference. we are not in a perfect democracy. we are in a broken democracy, where the only option we have is to not become a compete fascist nation.
Does this ever stop? THE GEN Z VOTERS HERE ARE VOTING FOR HARRIS! But nothing, not the truth, not a goddamned thing on this planet will get between a centrist and an opportunity to deliver a sanctimonious lecture about how the slightest disappointment in the system is somehow ushering in Trump again.
And before your lecture reflex kicks in a second time, I already voted for Harris. Not like that will stop you.
at this point in the election complaining about the lack of options is just mental masturbation.
The US voting system is horrible for democracy. A two party system is inevitable the way it works. And with only two parties, it's inevitable that many aren't represented.
It doesn't matter who the candidates are, the system is fucked and needed substantial reform decades ago.
The only thing you can do as a voter is not elect the literal fascist maniac and hope for the best.
Last time you didn’t have representation, you fought the British for it.
Gen-X here. I got some news for you...
It's horrible to democracy that someone ks trying to engage with any pieces of it that might be left?
"Just leave it guys, it's not worth it."
Fuck off
Literally no one said that, didn’t even say don’t vote for Harris.
Oh well can’t wait for all you right wingers to shut up in a few days time.
Shortsighted little fek, aren't you?
Then push for reform like ranked choice. That's how you're going to be able to vote for someone you want without also supporting the one that might end elections altogether. It's a shitty time. And there's 2 paths forward. Only one has the hope of moving towards the future you want.
