Why is this news? Do many devs not fix buggy saves?
I’ve sent more than a few to a few different devs at their request, it helps them immensely to have a buggy save, because sometimes they can’t recreate the conditions.
Fix buggy saveing/save systems yes. Fix personal buggy saves files to a working state for a particular player? No.
Most games get you to upload your save with a bug report, so that’s entirely not correct.
Well yes, but not many these days will make the effort to (try to) return that save to you in a working state.
