More than 100 Arizona Palestinian, Arab, Muslim, and progressive Democrats and community leaders have signed a letter making the case for those reluctant to support Kamala Harris against Donald Trump.

“We know that many in our communities are resistant to vote for Kamala Harris because of the Biden administration’s complicity in the genocide,” the letter, published Thursday night, reads.

“Some of us have lost many family members in Gaza and Lebanon. We respect those who feel they simply can’t vote for a member of the administration that sent the bombs that may have killed their loved ones,” the letter continued. “As we consider the full situation carefully, however, we conclude that voting for Kamala Harris is the best option for the Palestinian cause and all of our communities.”

Pay attention. You’re addressing a different person.

This is like 10 comments deep so yes I missed a new person jumping in to make the contribution of reiterating parent's sentiment and then launching unsupported insults.

Your engagement is not needed. This is not up for debate. This is a statement of who you are.

If you would like to discuss this further, make a new thread and ping me. I'm not sure why I need to say this 3 times.

When your input is desired again, your string will be pulled once more.

Is this like a little skit playing out in your head or something? Either way, again, the topic here is the genocide of Palestinians. I will be ignoring further off-topic replies.

Nah, my vote is you stay right here, not go slinking of to some safe space. You opened your gob, take your lumps, you disingenuous muppet.

You seem proud of your vote for someone genociding Palestinians

You sure are focused on genocide. So, you'll call out China's treatment of the Uyghurs, yes? The Russian genocide being committed in Ukraine right now? No? Not those genocides?

Run along, obvious muckraker.

Neither of those genocides and your reference to them cheapens the term and distracts from your actual knowing support for genocide. Instead of reaching for the quick excuse to stop thinking, do some introspection on why you are okay with normalizing genocide.

Out of respect, I would like to venter Palestinians and the genocide they are facing, but I will discuss what you'd like about China and Russia in another thread. Feel free to make one and link it here.
