Ok, but how true is this actually? I can't find any references to this other than on lemmy or mastodon.
It's obviously not true.
So this is in fact, a low quality lie.

It could be true, if Doritos didn't have people eating the chips in their commercials.
Look on a bag of Doritos.
Do you see a list of ingredients and nutritional value? That's because they are regulated by the FDA
It's not, the community !lowqualityfacts@lemmy.zip just has it backwards. They are low quality lies, but the phrasing of the community makes it seem like it's true statement in a low-quality wrapper.
