I just don’t think I’ll ever see eye to eye with someone who doesn’t think applying pressure to politicians to stop promoting genocide is the right thing to do.

Keep applying pressure to Harris, but withholding a vote from her will mean much more violence against many more innocent people around the world when you help Trump win.

I just do not understand that lapse in morality and logic at all.

Withholding a Harris vote because you abhor violence is you embracing morality blind to logic that you want to stop violence.

In life we don't always get the chance to make the "best" choice and are left instead to make the "least worse". This is one of those times.

And how do you apply pressure to someone without withholding your vote exactly? Because you guys sure didn’t do the whole “Hold his feet to the fire” shit with Biden, so tell me what will be different this time.

How do you apply pressure when your lack a vote allows a Trump vote to be meaningful in its place?

[–] Cruxifux@feddit.nl -1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

You threaten to withhold votes until your candidate stops supporting genocide. I don’t understand what liberals don’t get about this.

[–] partial_accumen@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Withholding a vote for Harris means a vote for Trump is counted is supporting genocide.

[–] Cruxifux@feddit.nl -1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Threatening to withdraw votes is the only way you can put pressure on the American voting system to stop genocide you fucking moron.

[–] partial_accumen@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

You think withdrawing your vote from Harris will stop genocide when it allows Trump into office? Who is the moron now?

[–] Cruxifux@feddit.nl 1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

No, threatening to withhold your vote applies pressure you fucking idiot.

Sorry, not falling for your garbage. You've also shown you are done with any reasonable conversation with your name calling. Welcome to my block list. Feel free to respond to the void if you feel the need.
