A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.

How so? Pasteurization is heating, not distillation.
Heating causes evaporation even if boiling isn't technically achieved.
Like how salt pools will evaporate out water despite the earth not constantly being at 100° C.
It's impossible to heat something in a sealed container?
But, regardless, by that definition, all liquids are evaporated liquids, because all liquids evaporate at least a little by the time you get it in your pie-hole.
No, but pasteurization technically is done with an open top container
And, yeah that is technically correct, hence it being in showerthoughts
Let me introduce you to the concept of vapor pressure. The volatility of a material depends on the temperature. Even cold water will still evaporate slowly. Instead is being a binary things, the vapor pressure will increase gradually as the temperature increases.
This means, that you can empty a glass of water by just waiting. You don’t even need to boil the water to make it evaporate. It’s already evaporating very slowly, even in room temperature.
Therefore, raw milk straight from the udder, is also evaporated milk.
