I used to be in reddit like.... All the fucking time. So much in there in so many niche subs you could scroll for hours and not see the same thing twice. Since lemmy is so much smaller and not as built up so much yet I'm not doom scrolling anymore.

I dunno if it's just because it's new but it has the feel of a 2000s forum to me, but in a better format to read

I can't go back to regular forums. The threading style of reddit/lemmy is so much better than just a long chain of comments.
