It is very difficult to overcome decades of propaganda that deemed any leftist ideology as evil.
The best move to create movements at the local level, but with the national Overton Window continuously sliding to the right, that also murders left wing discussions on the local level.
It's hard not to be apathetic in a nation that thinks housing and health care are luxuries or that LGTBQ+ people existing is a crime.
