Oho, I see the problem. See the interview here:

https://www.metrotimes.com/news/tlaib-slams-nessel-for-targeting-pro-palestinian-students-at-u-m-a-dangerous-precedent-37343930

This bit:

"“We’ve had the right to dissent, the right to protest,” Tlaib says. “We’ve done it for climate, the immigrant rights movement, for Black lives, and even around issues of injustice among water shutoffs. But it seems that the attorney general decided if the issue was Palestine, she was going to treat it differently, and that alone speaks volumes about possible biases within the agency she runs.”

Nessel is the first Jewish person to be elected Attorney General of Michigan."

So it wasn't Tlaib saying the religion of the AG was an issue, Tlaib stated it points to "possible biases" in the AGs office, the author of the article, or perhaps their editor, inserted the line perhaps to clarify which bias Tlaib was talking about.

Factcheck article from the same source here endorsing that idea:

There have been articles out there for multiple days now which spell out your same conclusion, but these CNN clowns keep pushing the same false narrative. It's blatantly intentional misdirection at this point.

It's racist.

They are literally only doing this because it's protests for Palestinians. When you put negative attributes on an entire group of people based solely on their race, we call that racism.

These CNN bigots are every bit as bad as the lynch mobs killing black people because a white woman said they raped her.

This was not a mistake. Their lies were pointed out but instead of apologizing they doubled down on their fake news propaganda.

CNN's Jake Tapper and Dana Bash deliberately spread Zionist smear propaganda. They have been doing so for an entire year.

Oh, it's definitely NOT a mistake on the part of Tapper and Bash, they're always down on Progressives.

The mistake is in the original article, conflating Tlaib's accusations of bias with the AG's heritage when Tlaib made no such accusation.
