And yet we will never get a bloodborne remaster
I see this game mentioned repeatedly over the meme-brink, but it's that relevant in the PC scope? Because I am beginning to think only people who had already played on PS4 care about it: it looks like the "I use Arch, btw" meme (a random guy repeated that make clear they use a product/thing... which nobody ask them about).
Bloodborne sold ~7million copies in the span of ~7 years ( ref ), for comparison a game like Sekiro (while not forgotten, you don't see random people jumping out and say "I played/want Sekiro btw") sold 10 million in ~4 years ( ref )
But Sekiro isn’t a PS4 exclusive and is already on PC.
There is a (from my guess) sizable chunk of soulslike fans who want to play Bloodborne but won't get a console just to do it. The noise around it is likely as loud as it is because it is the only Fromsoft soulslike released after the initial success of Dark Souls that is not available on PC, the other games all either got a PC port (Dark Souls 1-3) or released on PC from the start (Sekiro, Elden Ring)
Aah you're correct it isn't a PC game, PS only which accounts for the sales difference for sekiro for example. Also, dark souls wasn't really that popular until bloodborne came out, it energized the soulsborne genre. It is a very important game, a masterpiece, but unfortunately unless you get ahold of the very recently emulated version for PC, you can't play without a PS. Sorry, didn't realize this was a PC gaming space. I saw concord is a Sony game, and i have a bit of a one track mind.
Personally, I never played it due to being a console exclusive, but would be very happy if it came to PC.
To me it makes sense that many of the people who played other souls-like/FromSoftware games would want to play "that missing one".
