I just don't understand how he thought this was something he should put on a public forum.
Maybe a snide/sarcastic remark along friends, sure.... It's still not in good taste, but at least it's contained to people you should trust.
But.... On Twitter?
Why?
Making rude/inappropriate comments, however, is very on-brand for Elon.
It's a compulsion. He literally cannot not have attention.
He lives in a positive feedback only environment. It's making him literally insane.
Surrounded by yes men.
His audience is far-right bigoted dimwits. They like seeing him respond to literal Nazis with thinking face emojis and they like whatever the fuck this was.
I think he's just playing it for his loyal followers. The only bad publicity is no publicity. The best thing would be that these blurts go unnoticed but we all know that's not going to happen any time soon.
So what you're saying is.... His only friends are on Twitter.
