It’s interesting, isn’t it. They’re obviously supportive of . . . uh, whatever policies trump is supposed to support - let’s say for the sake of argument it’s the standard, lower taxes, strong military, smaller government things. Given that none of those are particularly helpful for any minority, here’s a guy who probably sees himself as a businessman of some sort - perhaps a “free thinker” to his own mind - and he’s part of the politics for that . . . stuff.
Then they just come out and disrespect him openly. I can see him suing for that - y’know to make the party better for the next people.
The fact that it’s almost entirely self-defeating is really only not applicable to millionaires, misogynists, and white collar criminals. There’s still something like half the party voting to have the right to their own bodies being taken away - at least this guy isn’t doing that.
“I drink the sewage from this water so those who follow won’t have to.”
“Ever considered just going to where the water’s clean and drinking that instead?”
That would seem to be a reasonable course of action wouldn’t it.
And yet
And yet…. “If I close my eyes and hold my nose, I can almost pretend the sewage chunks are cottage cheese. This is fine! It’s fine.”
