Are the books as good as the show? Is there any value add in reading the books, after I've watched and fell in love with the show?
Edit: thank you, everyone! The overwhelming positive feedback on the books has me convinced. They are on my reading queue!
I actually preferred the show version up to and especially book 3. But then the books have an actual ending and other great POV characters. I'd say they are equally great overall
Same here, I liked seasons 1-3 better than books 1-3 but books 4-6 better than seasons 4-6. And then there's the amazing books 7-9 which sadly didn't get adapted at all.
