It's pretty scary that these people were in such leading positions, with the USAID person even promoting her moronic ideology even abroad.
That said, the part calling calling out "pro-choice" as a term feels semi-true to me. Of course, that language is as much appeasement as it is a specific framing. And "pro-life" as the opposite term is at least as dumb because quite often it will lead to mothers being physically and mentally hurt or even death of the mother. Also, I do love the irony of women trying to take rights away from themselves.

Reminds me of Serena from Handmaid's Tale – she helped install a theocratic dictatorship where one major goal was to strip women of their rights, and was all surprised Pikachu face when she had her rights taken away from her
