I would have been a little extra wary because that's a big claim, done some due diligence, and concluded that they're almost certainly trustworthy. They don't seem to have any agenda besides their stated anti-corruption agenda.

Actually, it's pretty easy to see that they do have an agenda because they practically never expose western elites. If you look at the numbers, it's overwhelmingly focused in countries the west considers to be adversaries.
