I really like the show. I've pitched it to friends as a mix of Lost and a Steven King book.
I agree, but that's what's kept me nervous we're not going to get a satisfying ending. I believe some of the creators were involved with Lost.
I'm so hopeful with the big S2 finale reveal that we'll start closing plotlines instead of adding more so things don't just end up going off the rails.
