I managed to convince my friends to give Matrix a try. Among us we span almost all platforms. Any ideas on what clients to use would be much appreciated.

I'm on Linux using nheko. Works great. I'm using kde, so that's why I use nheko over fractal.

And have you tried NeoChat? I've heard that it also works well (although I haven't tried it because I use GNOME and I like Fractal).

Not yet, because nheko just works :-)
