NBC News writing pure propaganda for Norwegian in this article. Norwegian callously abandoned a sick elderly passenger, and didn't inform her family she was in a coma on an African island? Thank goodness Norwegian also abandoned those other eight people so she could get some real help.

NBC News and Norwegian should be ashamed.

Okay, since it seems so people can do when confronted with propaganda is read it and agree with it, I present to you AN ALTERNATIVE VIEW. I know Norwegian is a huge company and as such you are inclined to trust their good will but,

It doesn't say anything about a coma? It says

She had "medically disembarked" from the cruise to seek local treatment on that day, Norwegian said.

There is no information on her medical condition. If an adult wishes to disembark from the cruise, what do you expect them to do? They can't legally prevent her from doing so.

And the other people scheduled a private tour unaffiliated with the cruise when they knew they had to be back on the ship by 3pm. They probably figured that the ship would wait for them and inconvenience everybody else if necessary. They got what was coming to them.
