OS:RS is updating it's official client with a toggeable HD mode that blends the old school low poly models with modern rasterized global illumination, updated texture filtering and high resolution rendering.

Additionally, the new engine together with the client update will be more easily customizable and modifiable by plugins, making the official client closer to the community favorite RuneLite client.

As someone with many hours in this game dating back to 2004, it's just not true. It's in the healthiest state the game has ever been in and is very balanced for the content.
