Game is not bad but I stopped playing it after 2 days. There are better horde games, for example Deep Rock Galactic. Bonus, it doesn't have kernel anticheat.
The more I play it, the less I think it is a horde shooter and the more I think the people playing it like a horde shooter are making the game WAY harder than it needs to be.
It's a guerrilla warfare simulator, and I kind of love it for that. Both games have a place in my library, and I'll likely keep coming back to each one every time there's a major update.
You're dead on. Sadly the game never explains it but you're really not meant to shoot everything on the map and that's what every new player is doing right now. Navigating around patrols to reach your objectives and knowing when to disengage and circle back when you're being overwhelmed are the real core of the game.
