I have a milk problem

Counting calories with a food scale is eye opening. That bit of milk in coffee was actually about 80ml on average and I guess on certain days I might have drank about 300ml in milk. I guess I will switch to drinking my coffee black now.

Overall I think I am someone who is drawn to milk, some people may have sugar cravings, for me it’s hard to resist milk. (Fermented dairy like yogurt or quark is totally different for me, it doesn’t trigger the same reactions).

once you get used to it, black coffee is really good. :)

Yess

Especially if you use good quality coffee and brew it well. Bad coffee is a lot more obvious if you drink it black

I used to drink coffee with a hefty amount of half and half and way too much sugar.

The sugar was causing me to go hypoglycemic before lunch, so I weaned myself off of it and just used half and half.

I liked it that way after the adjustment period. Then I decided to try to learn to drink black coffee to cut out even more calories and that was over 4 years ago.

It's been black coffee ever since and it's so much nicer. Black coffee is much less of a hassle.

The only thing I miss is when I take coffee to go. Adding in cream makes the coffee drinkable temperature quicker and insulated black coffee stays really hot.

My stomach doesn't like the acidity of black coffee. I switched to tea.

Hot coffee can bother my gums, so I drink a lot of cold brew. That might bother you less.
