8GB laptops are pretty much ewaste outside of Chromebooks. That's why it's relevant to the "green" discussion
E: lol the person below made a whiny comment essentially saying Apple has magic RAM and then blocked me so I can't reply. Am I back on Reddit or something?
Love how you are being so absolute when it’s obvious you have never used a Macbook to know how it performs. Having 8GB RAM doesn’t automatically make it e-waste, the statement only highlights your ignorance and closed mindedness.
Ahhhhhh.... Apple marketing at it's finest here.
8GB on an M3 MacBook Pro is probably analogous to 16GB on other systems, and if an Apple VP says it is, it must be. 8GB is more than enough.
