I like it as a "sometimes" thing. It's adds a very in-your-face lolsorandom aspect to the game that is too much for most games.
It's fun but can invalidate too many cards and decks and board states to be the normal way to play for most people.
It's a very sometimes thing for me. Especially with EDH decks, it can take a game that would already take a chunk of time to play and makes it take longer.
