I think it’s more likely they’ll use this tech to produce vehicles with physically smaller batteries that can get 400-500 miles of range.
I don’t think the majority of people are in search of something that can go 800 miles without stopping.
Imagine putting that tech into a work truck. One that's hauling around a load of compost all day.
Will definitely be huge improvement for range in commercial vehicles hauling heavy loads. Can k ly imagine the cost though.
