How to hide Windows only games in the Steam Store (lemmy.world)

Hello everyone,

I would like to hide games that only support Windows, as I'll never buy any of those games.

Is there a simple way to do that? I found a checkbox in my account settings but it doesn't seem to have much effects.

I think it'll be really difficult, if not impossible, to hide all Windows-only games, as I believe Steam will still show Deck-verified games and other games that run on Proton well. ProtonDB lets you exclude Linux-native games, so if they have that information, there may be another service somewhere that lets you filter to only include native games, but I don't know of one.

I may be wrong but I think it only does that if you enable proton compatibility in the settings.
