But those are just extrapolations, not the real number
They're more than good enough though. The like-to-dislike ratio it shows always lines up with what you'd expect the video to have.
But on the other hand, you're only getting data from a very niche demographic. Nerdy tech types.
Which is a perfect proxy for me.

I would say that it is just like random sample from statistics. You won't really get accurate count, but you will get a ratio beetween likes and dislikes.
But iirc return YouTube dislike extrapolates only for the videos where it doesn't have enough data. So for new videos it can record the amount of dislikes through the extension, which makes it far more accurate (although the sample size is still a little bit smaller than it was on YouTube).
They're.995 accurate.
