This is the problem with Democratic voters turning on Biden over Gaza. The Republican stance is that all Palestinians are Hamas, and they should be either killed or exiled. "Not calling for a ceasefire quickly enough" isn't a thing on the right, and it never will be.
The only thing those voters ask from Biden is to represent them too in this conflict. He doesn't, so putting the blame on them if he loses the elections, is not fair.
Also he made it clear he doesn't care about their voices, so all he has to do is replace those votes with Jewish voters I guess? Muslims and Jews make up 1% each of the entire US population (census 2020), so it'll straighten itself out.
US Jews aren't that closely alligned to Israel; particularly if you are talking about the current Israeli leadership (which a significant portion of Israelis also aren't alligned with). Further, the preferences of US Jews is pretty corralated to their political party; where Jewish Republicans are far more pro Israel than Jewish democrats.

The above survey is old, but I don't think the story has fundamentally changed.
Across all US Jews (as of the time the survey was conducted)
40% rate Netenyahus leadership as good or excellent (25% of Democratic Jews, 80% of Republican Jews)
34% Strongly oppose the BDS (anti Israel Boycott, Divest, Sanctions) movement. (28% Democratic Jews, 54% Republican Jews)
33% Thought that Israel was making a sincere effort to peace. (20% Democratic Jews, 66% Republican Jews)
32% Thought that God gave Israel to the Jews. (22% Democratic Jews, 60% Republican Jews).
When people talk about the "Jewish" position for Israel in thr context of US politics, they are really talking about the Republican position.
Thanks that's insightful.
"Lesser of two evils" is sure slipping more and more towards "evil", isn't it.
That's...the entire point of the phrase.
Are you just realizing this?
Boy are you in for a surprise when you find out that "cutting off your nose to spite your face" is slipping more and more towards the face not having a nose anymore.
That's an odd response to what I wrote...what I said is that the two choices are becoming more and more evil, not that they are evil in the first place. Which is not how that phrase has typically been used (to justify selecting the lesser of the two evils).
Which, side note, may make sense in the context of, there are actually only two choices. But what we do is collectively lock ourselves into those two choices and then choose between them, when there are not only other parties and independent candidates we could support, but entirely separate political systems we could move to.
The entire point is selecting the lesser of two evils.
If you choose to eat strawberry ice cream instead of dog poop, that's not selecting the lesser of two evils.
If you choose to eat bugs instead of dog poop, that's where you'd refer to it as the lesser of two evils.
Having an objectively good option and an objectively terrible one isn't choosing the lesser of two evils.
Having a terrible one and a slightly less terrible one is.
You are correct that we shouldn't need to be choosing between the lesser of two evils, but that phrase only really applies when both options suck.
maybe he should do what his voters want him to lol
