Checo putting on a brave face but it felt like he wanted to cry, in the interview on F1TV right now.
I mean, he’s almost certainly losing his job and he has to know it. He’s closer than most will ever get to the highest achievement in f1 and just falling an inch short.
If max wasn’t here he’d likely be a champion this year or at least in a solid fight with Hamilton for it
