Howdy yall. I'm looking to upgrade my current setup. I had SLI 1080s back when the 1080s came out but now no games support SLI, so I'm essentially down to a single 1080 and I'm struggling to play some new games.

Anyway, looking for a suggestion for a new "future proof" card that is compatible with my setup and if there are significant bottlenecks elsewhere. Im also not too keen on all of the different versions of each card. I assume my i7 needs to be updated as well but I'm not that bright. Willing to spend the $ but don't want something that's unnecessary.

Here's my current setup (I have 32gb memory instead of 16gb) https://pcpartpicker.com/b/3h4CmG

Yes I picked it because of the name Yes I understand I made poor financial decisions in 2016, but hey, it's gotten me this far. Just lookin for help

Out of curiosity, what are you planning to do with the old cards? When I upgraded back in 2016 I had a roommate who wanted my card, but now I'm starting to look at my old fella and don't want to just toss it in the trash to end up in a landfill.

Gonna look to sell them or make a tower for a family member who does nothing but stream and shop.
