I have signed up to two servers - Beehaw and Lemmy.world. So far this has not been an issue for me on Beehaw but I noticed in trying to switch servers and view more federated content on All, that porn sometimes comes up.

I'm still in the learning phase of using Lemmy and being YARR (Yet Another Reddit Refugee), I was browsing All to try and discover some communities to subscribe to. I never used All or Popular on Reddit because the sheer amount of post diarrhoea was really off putting. I liked to stick to only my subscribed subreddits as I could get a nicely curated feed of communities I am interested in. Welp, I was at a kids meeting, sitting on the sidelines, scrolling through All on Lemmy to discover some new communities when an porn image came up. Alarm bells go off in my head and I madly scroll back up so kids don't see what just came up on my phone 😬

Now, I could turn NSFW back off but then that will block other NSFW content that I do want to see (like 18+ stuff involving cannabis or alcohol or whatever else that isn't porn but still NSFW).

So how do I have NSFW enabled without seeing porn (that doesn't involve accidentally seeing porn and then blocking that community after the fact)? And is there any function yet to blur NSFW images?

Thanks folks!
