That can't be real right? How can a company just send police to your house?

This one is not real but Wizards of the Coast sent the Pinkertons to a youtuber for showing new cards before the official release date.

They call the police, simple as that. I mean have you heard of swatting?

Even that aside, a company can and will send police to a private residence when they think their all holy private property rights are being violated.

While I heard of swatting, I've never heard of such a thing as companies sending police to your house and taking private property, to be honest. It sounds next-level. In fact, reading your comment makes me feel I just jumped in a parallel universe...

Personal Property* Common mistake but the belongings of an individual aren't private property unless they're involved with the creation of profit for them. This distinction is important because the American Dystopia cares about Private Property, but only feigns concern over personal property.

It still sounds very unreal! I'm in the EU, idk if it's a thing here as well...

It's the same universe.

Just think of a stereotypical police slogan, "to serve and protect." It's incomplete, it's missing "capital." In capitalist nations, so all of the west, the police exist to serve and protect capital. So of course they're at the beck and call of corporations and wealthy people.

In fact police don't even need cause in some countries (in the example I used before, a company owns the IP but not the physical object). In the US for example, police can use a mechanism called civil asset forfeiture to just take your stuff. That you legally own. Just because they want to. And you can do nothing about it.
