For a real life example there's Rob Greenfield channel on YouTube, he's pretty extreme in his escape from the modern systems of oppression thingie https://youtube.com/@RobGreenfield?si=WeHRqpWH-GvqLRfy He says he closed his bank accounts, destroyed his physical documents, like passport and driving license etc.
