Exactly what the title says. I'm not a native English speaker, so almost everything regarding auto-correct and word suggestions is turned off, except for grammar and speeling checks, that is set to underline. Underlining works in every other app, except Jerboa. Why is that?

That is cool, I didn't even know you could do that. I get my words spelled checked by just typing and getting suggestions. I am assuming you use Android, is this something you set up in the settings of the phone? I can't find it (I have a Samsung), I can only find autocorrect with spell suggestions

Yeah, I use Android. Those are Gboard specific settings (the on screen keyboard I use, it's the default keyboard for Android). You'd have to go in Additional settings --> Languages and Input, and there, you can choose your on screen keyboard and it's related settings.

And actually, it's set to underline and suggest corrections, but only if you tap the underlined word. This suits me just nice, since I use the regular latin keyboard (I just hate switching keyboards and layouts) for local communication as well, so it's easier if everything just goes underlined if I'm not typing in English, even if there are errors, most locals will understand what I'm trying to say, lol ๐Ÿ˜‚.

That explains it! I use Microsofts swiftkey keyboard and I couldn't find any settings like that on it either. But maybe I should try gboard out. Sounds pretty neat! :D
