Long story short, I have an old xbox one controller with a micro-usb, and xbox series s with the usb-c. I have a rechargeable battery for each, but have been considering replacing the worn out xbox one controller. Can I just use the battery on any new controller I get, even if it has usb-c, or does it need to be an older model?

Thanks in advance!

Are we talking about the battery pack or AA-batteries?

If the latter: My Xbox Series Controller takes the same rechargeable AA batteries as my trusty old 360 controller.
