The beauty of Lemmy is the federation!

You can post on heapoverflow from lemmy.

I want to add a feature to make it easier but for now you search for the url of the sub you want to post on like this

ohh, wow, lemmy really needs to make that way easier, so subscribing and posting on other instances is made easier. I'm sure I won't easily remember the right URL to get into the other instance community... Thanks a lot, I wasn't aware of this way to access other instances communities...

Yeah, I added links to the sidebar of the communities to help lemmy.ml users.

This issue on github is asking for a "remote subscribe" button that should make the experience much better.
