With the decline of twitter and reddit, it's time to take a look at RSS again if you haven't already.

A nice place to discuss rumors, happenings, innovations, and challenges in the technology sphere. We also welcome discussions on the intersections of technology and society. If it’s technological news or discussion of technology, it probably belongs here.
Remember the overriding ethos on Beehaw: Be(e) Nice. Each user you encounter here is a person, and should be treated with kindness (even if they’re wrong, or use a Linux distro you don’t like). Personal attacks will not be tolerated.

I selfhost freshrss and it's amazing. If the reddit privacy frontends go down due to the api changes, I'll lose those feeds but I already replaced them with lemmy feeds anyways :)
I've also found many free online RSS services have a barrier you hit at some point (number of feeds usually) so I also settled on self-hosting FreshRSS and paired it with Full-Text RSS Feeds - I did a video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBdLgRSR04o comparing FreshRSS and Tiny Tiny RSS if anyone wants to see what both look like.
