the circumstances surrounding Nijjar's death were suspicious even before Trudeau revealed it in the parliament. I read about it when the news came out in June and then I thought it was Hindu nationalists (who aren't that far away from the current Indian Government).
India had been publicly complaining about 'anti-national' elements in Canada even before the reveal
4th July: "Indian Consulate in San Francisco Set on Fire for the Second Time in 5 Months"
There were suspicious deaths of pro-Khalistan activists in Pakistan and the U.K. before.
July 2022: Indian Intelligence agency NIA Announces Cash Reward for Wanted Khalistan Tiger Force 'Terrorist'
Also note there was no generic 'We support rule of law' diplomatic message from India after Nijjar's death. I believe that India wants to be have an Israel like assassination program.
Well, other than convincing me that Nijjar might have been an actual terrorist, I still don't see how it's evidence that India did anything. The article about suspicious deaths even lays doubt on the claims:

The UK police later said they were not investigating the death because it was deemed “not suspicious”.Either way, the point still stands that there is no evidence that has been presented. The constant claim of "we have 'credible' evidence that we cannot share" is a song-and-dance that I've seen too many times. Am I saying India didn't do it? No. Nor am I saying that they did it. The statements have had a negative impact for security both for Indian and Canadian citizens. At the very least, it would be in the public interest to release whatever evidence they claim they have.
yea i agree with you, Trudeau should have let the investigation get to courts before announcing anything. i don't know what his political motivations behind damaging relations with India was.
Nijjar wasn't a 'left-wing' separatist either I think. The Khalistan movement in general has been associated with very reactionary views.
what i was saying is that, India was pretty interested in getting him and why it doesn't sound too unreasonable.
