I've been reading about both, yet I saw a lot of criticism and mixed opinions.

What do you think about them? What changes would you like to see? Do you know other promising alternatives?

I have a peertube instance. I can't get anyone to really care outside of the fediverse. I think peertube has a big chance to come out on top if so many new people are trying out the fediverse for the first time. getting everything to integrate properly would be a godsend.
