That's an interesting take, would have been great. But reality is it is very hard to overtake on that track unless you have at least 10kph speed difference and the person ahead has difficult drive. Lando is a good driver and has kept Lewis at bay previously.
2 things. Russell almost got by Lando and Lewis has much more experience than russell. The combination of these things leads me to believe that Lewis would have gotten past Lando. Once Lando would have been cleared, Sainz would have been a sitting duck.
