Meanwhile Germany has a massive labor shortage in the services and skilled craftsman industries....

Been trying to find a contractor and electrician to do a heat pump install for over 6 months. All the stores near me are in need of additional labor to stay open, the restaurants struggle a bit to keep people...

Edit: I know this is hard for Germans to grasp, but electrician and plumbers is one three month school away from trained. Apprenticeships artificially limit the supply here. Any migrant can be brought up to speed in those skills.

I don't think the people coming in are skilled labour for electricians and plumbers.
