This is what happens when the Base of a party has been fed propaganda for so long that that they've gone off the deep end and can't be contained. Except for complete morons like MTG, the vast majority of these elected politicians know this is utterly pointless, except that they are calling for impeachment because their Base wants revenge for what Dems did to Trump.
