Right, sanctions are basically a modern version of siege warfare.
It's so frustrating trying to converse with liberal ignorants on the topic of Cuba/DPRK/etc because the moment you talk about sanctions they immediately disregard it as a "common leftist talking point" as if it wasn't a valid point!
That's because intellectual dishonesty is fundamentally required to hold a liberal world view.
