I'm on today but was unable to get on many times. It says to change instances, but with no clue how to easily do that. I could not figure it out - so I just left it do its downtime thing until I could return.

Also, a lot of the posts are weird. Political. I don't want to see that stuff and have blocked what I can but I'm still seeing the stuff!

When I go to specific forum topics I do want to read, there just aren't many posts.

When I end up on the front page, some days it's the same stuff I read hours before.

Some things need to change to make it more attractive to hang out here. Even us nerdy types are finding other places.

Not complaints. Just my observations that perhaps someone can look at as a point to make some changes

it just means signup again on a different domain name

I browse by Subscribed, I'm always surprised how many people browse All

Hijacking this because I have exactly the same complaints.

That is not an easy way to solve that problem. Possibly there isn't an easy one. It was enough difficult to get this account, I don't see why I need several. I don't want to have five different accounts with five different signon passwords etc. and the apps I've found so far all only support one sign on method, and none are very reliable.

That's the default unfortunately. It's often difficult to reset it to Subscribed again and Subscribed again and Subscribed again every time I click on anything interesting. I see the All stuff all too often, even if it's just in passing.

I wish that worked. Probably does if you're subscribed to much. But the turnover is just so tiny I guess.

Man I miss all the cat subs full of pics of cats. I didn't realise how they buffered the more doomy posts until they went away.

You don't need 5 accounts, just 1 at a good instance. Jerboa handles switching between accounts.

You can change your default view in your settings, I set mine to Subscribed. On the settings page you can also hide bot posts, which a lot of people do currently, I toggle it on or off depending on my mood.

I know it's not ideal, but I hope this info helps

True, on my feed there are too much posts from "Meme" even that I don't interact with it often. So I unsubscribed the community. Maybe I would consider subscribing it back when the recommendation system is a bit better.
