I'm American so its hard, but I want to learn spanish to help the spanish speaking only guys at my work. It would be cool.

Oh yeah. Sorry if I sounded condescending. I think the English is an absolutely baffling pile of nonsense and "learn a whole other language" was meant to be ridiculous as well.
