Someone mentioned their location in a post the other day and it got me wondering what part of the world we're all from. I think I've mostly spoken to Europeans which is a surprise.

I'll go first! I'm in the South of the UK on the coast. We're having a rare sunny day so I'm writing this on my lunch break on the beach ๐Ÿ–๏ธ

Absolutely! It's about time we had an openly lgbt+ main character on Trek! I get the feeling they wanted to do some before (looking at you Bashir and Garak) but the studios weren't keen.

Oh your feeling is accurate. The actors for both Bashir and Garak openly said they were playing the characters as lowkey wanting to fuck. They've been pretty open about it and open about the studio being iffy on it. It makes their connection so much more interesting.
