I am curious how many people do not use desktops in this day and age. I do not. I use my phone for everything (online) tech related in my life.

Is this common?

Situations like yours are definitely more common than this thread makes it seem! Most of my friends (and their families) don't even have actual computers like desktops or laptops and just use their phones for everything.

I'm pretty much in the same boat. I technically have an old, broken-screened computer (my cat sat on the screen lol,) but since it's broken and barely usable, I don't use it unless I absolutely need a computer for some reason, which is increasingly rare. There's no way in hell I can afford anything else, since I'm disabled and can't work to make money to buy things. Otherwise I'd use a computer more.
