Verge interviewed the maker of Relay for Reddit and says he might survive on a subscription only model of $2-3 USD per month. Lots of limitations inherent in that, but maybe.

How do lemmies feel about this?

Unfortunately without NSFW posts I'm not sure many are going to use it. A lot of NSFW tagged content on Non-NSFW subs. Besides, there's no way I'm paying a monthly fee for fucking Reddit.
