Even if you have the most reliable SSD/HDD in the world, always have redundancy; make backups.
I brought a 2TB Extreme Portable SSD on vacation with me as a backup for my camera's SD cards. Are you telling me I need a backup for my backup?
When it comes to copies, 1 is none, 2 is one, and 3 is a backup!
